“Hey Wanderer is a call to those who are dreamers, thinkers, adventurers and believers. It’s a call to be better. We are all wanderers. Hey Wanderer is asking you not to settle, not to compromise, and to accept the struggle.”

A couple of nights ago the sweet girls of Hey Wanderer hosted a dreamy boho get together with like minded Nashville women in their backyard. (PS.. you can AIRBNB this place and I HIGHLY recommend it. They call it McGavock Manor. You are welcome.)

I first heard about these girls via their kimonos that they hand craft here in Nashville. Now they have a blog and it’s good. I mean really, really good. They give me so much DIY and boho inspiration it’s unbelievable. I highly recommend following along with their journey.

Anyway, they stand for something (the quote above) and ya’ll probably know by now that I admire that more than just about anything. They curated a group of women for some bites and cocktails to mix, mingle, inspire and conspire.

It was so great to have some time to hang with friends, and make some new ones.

One thing I just love about Nashville is that it is a city full of dreamers and creators. In other places in my life I was told to “get real” and that I needed to follow a strict pattern in life with a safety net. Here I feel like it is accepted and almost expected to reach for your dreams and goals, and live a little off the beaten path. I dig that. I fit in here.

The boho decor inspiration was OUT.OF.THIS.WORLD. Apple & Oak provided the cute set up with the peacock chair and vintage rugs, which made the cutest photo opportunity. Casey found the amazing macrame chandelier for $45 at a flea market in Indiana. Since we aren’t all so lucky to stumble upon perfect little pieces like that, I searched for some boho decor for ya’ll. Some of these are the exact pieces they used, and some are similar to the vibe.
