The Shopbop Style Event Sale is a tiered sale. The more you spend, the more you save. It’s a great time to stock up on wardrobe staple pieces/basics. I’ve gathered some pieces I have and love and some that are in my cart for this year’s sale below. Happy shopping!
Anine Bing is one of my all time favorite designers. I find myself pulling for her pieces the most. They are well made, versatile and many of them mix and match well together.
A lot of the pieces are currently 25% off. (Her pieces rarely go on sale.) I’ve gathered some of my favorites for you to shop through. Great wardrobe staples!
If you haven’t shopped on the Revolve website yet.. it’s a great one to try out. It’s easy to navigate, has outfit ideas for each item, free/easy returns and super quick free shipping. It’s one of my go-to places to shop. Today only they are having a sitewide 15% off sale with code: REVOLVEHOLIDAYS15.
A great time to grab a staple item or a holiday dress. Happy Shopping!
I’m not sure if brown is the new black, but I do know it is everywhere this season! I love the richness and versatility of the color. If you are looking for an easy way to add this in your wardrobe this season.. I’ve gathered up several staple pieces to explore. Monochromatic in head to toe brown hues is a great way to go as well!
1. Tortoise Face Mask Chain- This comes in a green tortoise as well. It’s $15 and I love that it helps not lose the mask.
2. Neutral Art- We’ve been slowly incorporating more and more art into our home. It makes me feel more inspired and brings a home to life. This can come as a set of two or sold separately. The texture is so good!
3. Bust Sculpture- Busts and sculpture pieces are having a major moment. This one is a classic.
4. Best Sweater Ever- Not to be dramatic.. but the best sweater there ever was! Comes in several colors. Runs oversized.. I sized down on a few of my color options and kept my normal size to wear with leggings in a few as well. This one is not itchy in the least and goes with anything and everything. You will want to wear it non stop.
5. Glass Tumbler- A favorite Amazon purchase. Comes in TONS of color options and different sizes aw well.
6. Sherpa Loafer Slide- These remind me of Jenni Kayne for a fraction of the price. Try them with black jeans and a black sweater to add a pop to your look.
7. NY Ball Cap- A neutral ball cap is something that you will grab for often. Wear it with a faux fur coat to make it extra chic.
8. $80 Faux Fur Coat- This one looks SO much more pricey than it’s tag. The prettiest neutral color. Super comfy!
9. Black & White Tote- This is on MAJOR sale. The detailing is SO good. Holds a lot and is a classic look you can keep from season to season. Added this one to my own Christmas wish list.
10. Stone Candle- The vessel of this candle is so pretty and comes in 3 different options. It’s $12 and you can reuse the jar after you are done as decor or a catch all.
11. Home Spray- This $10 home spray will make your home smell like a million bucks. It’s so fresh and clean and also a clean product. I’m giving this as a gift to so many people on my list this year. Great for the person on your list who has everything!
12. Gold Beaded Bracelet- Stackable bracelet. Great for mix and match and comes as a charm bracelet option as well.
13. Zip- Up Sweatshirt- This gives me major Dior vibes. It’s so good and $55! I snagged one during the first release and it sold out quick, but it’s back for preorder. I love the zip detailing on the sleeve. Super cozy! Would make a great gift as well.
MANGO has become one of my favorite places to shop for affordable fashion. Their fall pieces are SO good. Universally flattering, neutral, wardrobe staple type of finds. They are having a site wide sale for Labor Day offering 30% when you use the code: LAB20.
I’ve rounded up pieces you will wear all season and that can easily be mixed and matched with one another or items you already own in your closet.
** Click on any of the below images to shop. **
Hooded Duster- This is made from a thick material so it’s in between a cardigan and a jacket. It is a must have for fall and was super popular last season. They brought it back with a hood!
Knit Lounge Set- This was an instant add to cart for me. It’s loungewear that looks high end and can totally be worn out of the house!
Puff Sleeve Dress- How gorgeous is this? Looks like a high end designer piece. And yes, you can totally rock white after labor day. It’s even trending to do so!
Happy Sale Shopping!
I’ve rounded up some other great fall fashion finds that are staple pieces and under $50. You can check out that post HERE.
When you purchase items that are versatile and well fitted it takes away the “I have nothing to wear” problem. Building a spring capsule wardrobe is all about finding good quality items that can easily mix and match with one another. Far less wasteful. You will typically spend less money because you are able to keep the items in your closet longer. Fewer, better items. You might even have some of these staples in your closet and can add a few in to create dozens of looks!
Some favorites to have on hand for spring:
Bodysuits- Found the perfect nude one that is very seamless for $35, HERE. My favorite of the season is this TANK VERSION. It’s a bit of a splurge, but one you can wear a ton.
Denim Jacket- Spring weather can be so hard to navigate that a denim jacket is the perfect item to have on hand. You can wear it tied around your waste as well. It has become one of my most worn items in my closet. By far the best denim jacket is THIS ONE. It’s the perfect amount of distressing, a great wash that goes with everything and it’s actually super soft for denim. I have a discount code on this one as well! You can use BEAUSANDASHLEY15 at checkout for 15% off.
Linen Blazer- You can wear this dressed up or down. I love it with a bodysuit, jean and heel for date night. Or wear it with a graphic tee, leggings and sneakers for a casual errand day. The color of this one HERE Is great and it has nice structure. If you want a more relaxed (and super affordable) option.. check out this one HERE.
Lightweight Sweaters- Absolutely loving this lightweight option and it’s $45. You can check that one out HERE. Also, great to have a cardigan option. This neutral tie-dye one is a bit trendy, but the neutral tones make it great as a spring capsule wardrobe piece. You can check that one out HERE.
Gold Accessories- I love having more fun with outfits from accessories. Big sunglasses or hats and jewelry. Gold layers are really trending as are “chain” style jewelry. Loving this bold gold chain necklace HERE. Another favorite are these DOME RINGS. They come in a set of two and can be worn stacked or separately.
White Jeans- NOT all white jeans are created equal, ladies. Some are far too see through or far from flattering. I looked high and low and LOVE these HIGH WAIST WHITE JEANS. Super high-waist (can I get a hallelujah?!) also thick enough to show nothing underneath. They are a crisp white color which is great and have a bit of distressing, but not too much. A TOTAL WIN PAIR. I purchased my normal size in these.
Dresses- Last season I bought an AllSaints cream silk dress and ended up getting a ton of wear out of it. You can wear it casual with a graphic sweatshirt over and sneakers or out for date night with heels. Edge it up with a leather jacket or put a denim jacket wrapped around your waist. I can’t believe that THIS ONE Is under $100. Also, a ribbed dress is so great to have in rotation. Found this AMAZON OPTION for under $40 and it’s SO GOOD. Tons of great reviews and four color options. (I ended up ordering three colors it’s so good…)
You can find some other spring staple pieces as well as home decor spring items in this post, HERE.
I grew up in the Midwest and we had our fair share of snow. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good snow day, but COME. ON. SPRING. It’s just cold to be cold over here in Nashville, and these baby boys just want to be outside all day.
Spring style is about to be here, and I can’t wait! Until then, here is a little transition outfit idea. Denim Jackes are the perfect transition piece. I styled mine over this $10 GRAPHIC TEE, and added a stripe scarf for interest and my go to white booties. (The pop of white is perfect for spring style!) They are also on sale for half off and are now under $100!!
We are trying to beat off the cabin fever by doing little workouts inside and getting out any chance the temperatures spike up! However, this Wilson clan is all MORE than ready for spring!!
Some SALES I’ve been shopping this week:
Too Faced– Up to 30% off site wide. I was out of my favorite mascara and ended up snagging a couple other items as well.
Shopbop– One of the best to find designer pieces, and they’ve added A TON to the sale. They also are offering 15% off regular priced items using the code: FORYOU15.
Revolve– They have a ton of staple winter/fall items on mega sale. So many great jackets! I grabbed this black velvet moto jacket on sale for under $100.
Anthropologie – They are offering an additional 25% off sale. Since we moved in to the new house I’ve been crushing on all of their home decor.
P.S. You can check out my favorite spring transition outfit from last year HERE.
