New Years Resolution
A New Year is a fresh start, a clean slate of sorts. I’m not big on diet fad resolutions or promises to yourself that you know you will not obtain. I am all about reflection, goal setting and making small changes that can make a BIG difference in your life.
This year I’m keeping my resolution simple. To live a more intentional and purposeful life and keep a positive outlook while doing so. That’s it.
I also don’t believe in saying things like “I hope to do this” or “I’d like to do more of this.” Go all in and say I WILL do make this change in 2018. Your thoughts are powerful. You can manifest things to happen simply by believing that they will happen.
Most days in 2017 I felt like I was drowning. Drowning with the kids, drowning in emails, laundry, friends texts, the list is endless. Instead of trying to “do it all” I’m going to “do what I can.” BUT the things I do will be done with more intent and meaning. A simple New Years resolution that I believe can greatly impact your life. Who is with me?
This simple statement will trickle down to all aspects of my life.
In the upcoming weeks I will be collaborating with friends, fellow moms, bloggers, businesses, etc. that believe in this same sentiment. I’ve had this on my mind for awhile and I can’t wait to dive in and share it with ya’ll!
I’ve been floating around in this whole “blog space” for awhile now and I don’t always feel that I have a true direction for Beau & Arrow. With this resolution I will be changing it up and posting things that are more meaningful and have some meat on the bones. I’ve always been a fashion lover, and I want to continue to do fashion posts. BUT… there will now be so much more! This will be a space to talk about the realness of motherhood, tough subjects, friendships, positive thinking, home decor, hosting, recipes, giving back, living a healthy lifestyle and so much more. I want each and every post to have some “meat on the bones.”
I’d love for ya’ll to join me in this new mindset I’m embarking on for 2018. A New Years resolution worth keeping. I just know this year holds so much excitement! I am more than ready to tackle any challenges and celebrate in all the sweet moments it is sure to hold.
Happy New Year!
