This romper was a recent purchase and an instant closet staple. The quality is great and it’s under $100. I love the oversized fit and the pockets. It’s lightweight and SO comfy. Here are a few ways I plan to style it… there are truly endless ways with this one. It’d also be so cute with over the knee boots and a leather jacket for an edgier look.
Shopbop is one of my favorite places to online shop. Tons of great designers and selections and it always ships really quickly. I typically wait to stock up until they do their sales. They are offering a spring sale now and it’s the more you buy, the more you save style. It’s a great time to stock up on a few staple pieces. I’ve gathered some of my favorites below.
After being so cooped up in our home for months we are THRILLED to be heading down to the beach for a bit. I have some tried and true pieces in this round up that our classics and a few fun new pieces as well.
This Amazon suit is the most flattering/forgiving suit ever! It does not move around and has a full coverage back. (Perfect for chasing kids…) It comes in a few other colors. I went one size up from my typical size. The quality is far better than other Amazon suits I’ve tried.
Last season I purchased this tan tiered maxi dress and got a TON of wear out of it. I found a nearly identical dupe that is more affordable HERE.
When you purchase items that are versatile and well fitted it takes away the “I have nothing to wear” problem. Building a spring capsule wardrobe is all about finding good quality items that can easily mix and match with one another. Far less wasteful. You will typically spend less money because you are able to keep the items in your closet longer. Fewer, better items. You might even have some of these staples in your closet and can add a few in to create dozens of looks!
Some favorites to have on hand for spring:
Bodysuits- Found the perfect nude one that is very seamless for $35, HERE. My favorite of the season is this TANK VERSION. It’s a bit of a splurge, but one you can wear a ton.
Denim Jacket- Spring weather can be so hard to navigate that a denim jacket is the perfect item to have on hand. You can wear it tied around your waste as well. It has become one of my most worn items in my closet. By far the best denim jacket is THIS ONE. It’s the perfect amount of distressing, a great wash that goes with everything and it’s actually super soft for denim. I have a discount code on this one as well! You can use BEAUSANDASHLEY15 at checkout for 15% off.
Linen Blazer- You can wear this dressed up or down. I love it with a bodysuit, jean and heel for date night. Or wear it with a graphic tee, leggings and sneakers for a casual errand day. The color of this one HERE Is great and it has nice structure. If you want a more relaxed (and super affordable) option.. check out this one HERE.
Lightweight Sweaters- Absolutely loving this lightweight option and it’s $45. You can check that one out HERE. Also, great to have a cardigan option. This neutral tie-dye one is a bit trendy, but the neutral tones make it great as a spring capsule wardrobe piece. You can check that one out HERE.
Gold Accessories- I love having more fun with outfits from accessories. Big sunglasses or hats and jewelry. Gold layers are really trending as are “chain” style jewelry. Loving this bold gold chain necklace HERE. Another favorite are these DOME RINGS. They come in a set of two and can be worn stacked or separately.
White Jeans- NOT all white jeans are created equal, ladies. Some are far too see through or far from flattering. I looked high and low and LOVE these HIGH WAIST WHITE JEANS. Super high-waist (can I get a hallelujah?!) also thick enough to show nothing underneath. They are a crisp white color which is great and have a bit of distressing, but not too much. A TOTAL WIN PAIR. I purchased my normal size in these.
Dresses- Last season I bought an AllSaints cream silk dress and ended up getting a ton of wear out of it. You can wear it casual with a graphic sweatshirt over and sneakers or out for date night with heels. Edge it up with a leather jacket or put a denim jacket wrapped around your waist. I can’t believe that THIS ONE Is under $100. Also, a ribbed dress is so great to have in rotation. Found this AMAZON OPTION for under $40 and it’s SO GOOD. Tons of great reviews and four color options. (I ended up ordering three colors it’s so good…)
You can find some other spring staple pieces as well as home decor spring items in this post, HERE.

This year we decide to skip the big blowout birthday party and head to the beach for Georgie’s third birthday. We had such a fun time celebrating our sweet guy and he told us it was the “best birthday ever, ever, ever!”

It was nice being able to stock up for myself and the boys as well as lots of great premium beauty options. Since I waited till last minute to find things for the trip, the quick shipping was super convenient!
I’ve been scouring Amazon like a crazy lady lately and finding some really great deals (and dupes!)
If you haven’t checked the new look for less section.. you can find it HERE. It’s tons of designer look a like items, and several are Amazon finds.
Laundry Detergent– I’ve shared this before, but there is something about this fresh scent in spring that just can’t be beat. It will make your whole house smell amazing while you are washing items, and impress any guest when you wash your sheets in this. Since it’s a little bit pricey I use it on sheets, blankets and items that go several times in between washes. It lasts me a very long time this way.
Marble Diffuser– I ordered one of these to diffuse our lavender essential oil at night and immediately ordered two more for the main living area.
Lip Mask-– I didn’t even know that I needed a night lip mask, but it is SO GOOD.
Tan Sunglasses-– The look so much like the Celine version and our under $10.
Clear Tote Bag– This looks JUST like the Staud version, and comes in multiple other colors as well. Such a great piece for spring and summer!
Barefoot Dreams- The softest blanket you will ever own! It is a splurge, but it’s just that good. These are always sold out, but there are a few left in stock here!
The Shopbop Sale is here! Everything is 20-25% off using code EVENT19 and it’s the perfect time to stock up on everything you need for spring and summer.
These denim shorts are the best! They are actually long enough to cover everything that they need to. A total staple item you will wear all spring/summer.
Two slides I’m loving for spring are these and these. Both under $100 and neutral enough to go with everything.
If you’ve been wanting to splurge on a pair of Golden Goose sneakers, now is your chance! There are several options on sale HERE. I’ve got a whole post on sizing and the different types of Golden Goose that you can check out HERE.
The bag of the summer is on the sale here! It was one of the first things I added to my cart. You can shop it HERE.
Ahh the Shopbop sale is here! I’m rounding out my favorite Shopbop sale picks.
So this is a buy more, save more sale. You use code: GOBIG19 for 15% off orders of $200+, 20% off of orders $500+ and 25% off orders $800+. This is the time of year that I like to stock up on some spring essentials.
There are so many great finds this year, but here are some of my absolute favorites.
Ya’ll.. I have found the perfect pair of spring sneakers! These Koolaburra suede slip on spring sneakers are super comfortable and easy to style for everyday wear. I’m a sucker for suede. If you are looking to have a more polished look than a typical athletic sneaker, this is the way to do it. The whipstiching detail on these are perfect.
(These are at a great price point too… under $100!)
I paired them with some distressed light wash jeans and this adorable off the shoulder blouse. This tan color can go with lighter colors, or would look great with an all black look as well. I plan on styling them with my black graphic t-shirts and black cut offs as well. They’d also be super cute with a sundress for times when you want to be just a little more dressed up.
Spring sneakers are my jam these days with the boys. It’s easy for me to slide them on and be comfortable while balancing a baby on each hip.
Koolaburra is the sister company to UGG, and I love their effortlessly cool vibe. Their designs are easy to style, and comfortable. They were created with the “on the go” lifestyle in mind. Great for this busy mama!
Spring has sprung in Nashville, and we are finally able to get out and about. It’s been SO nice! I’ve been “faking” spring in my house for awhile now by keeping it stocked with fresh flowers. No more faking it! (However, I am addicted to having our house stocked with flowers to bring that little extra life and happiness to the place.)
I hope everyone is having a great start to their spring and getting out and about in the fresh air!
